The Bachelor of Dental Surgery is a degree course recognized by the Dental Council of India under the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
The BDS course is for 5 years.
Seats available per year of admission are 60. |

Eligibility for Admission |

(1) |
The candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on or before 31st December 2007. |
(2) |
The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. No rounding of the marks secured by the candidate in individual subject or final total while converting marks of individual subject out of 100 or total marks of 300 will be done. |

The candidate must have appeared for ASSO-CET 2008 conducted by AMUPMDC on the basis of merit for the ASSO-CET quota respectively. |
(4) |
The candidate must secure 50% of marks in common entrance test i.e. ASSO-CET 2008. |

Under exceptional circumstances an authorized person representing the candidate will be permitted to attend with the authority letter in the prescribed format annexed to the application form.

The candidate who have taken admission elsewhere should bring letter from the Principal stating that the original certificates are retained by the Institution. However, the candidate must produce the attested copies of all original certificates.
It is presumed that the students have given choice of an institution after giving consideration to the fees structure (subject to the final High / Supreme court decision) and hence will be allotted the college according to their preferences and merit.
The preference given once is final and cannot be changed. The granting of term will be decided by Maharashtra University of Health Services, Nashik.
As and then, a notice will be put on the Notice Board of the respective college indicating the number of seats vacant and seeking applications for the same. The notice would also indicate the eligibility criteria for application.
The applications should be made on the basis of the above. |
